Gallstones are "stones" that form in the gallbladder or bile ducts. The gallbladder stones, though is not a serious as other common diseases like hypertension and diabetes. Gallstones can cause pain, discomfort and in some other cases, even more serious problems, especially when they are not treated and addressed properly. As the formation is quite common, there are some people who have stones but still do not suffer from any discomfort or pain from their gall stones. However, it is important to have it assessed by your doctor as soon as possible you’ve noticed the symptoms. Dissolution results from the action of a liquid called methyl tert-butyl-ether (MTBE), a chemical cousin of the diethyl ether that has been used in surgery as general anesthetics for more than a century. This ether preparation is injected through a thin tube that pierces the skin and is guided through the liver to enter the gall bladder. This solution can dissolve cholesterol gallstones as the most common type.

The use of liquid gas to dissolve gallstones represents a less radical approach to the surgery for it is less destructive to the body. However, in recent years many people have chosen to take chenodiol pills as a way of dissolving gallstones without any surgery. However, this pill has not always been successful, and when it is, it is usually taken one to three years.

Gallstones can be removed naturally by drinking four or five servings of apple juice every day. But still there are no guarantees that the "natural cure" will remove gallstones and may not cure and will have a positive reaction to natural cure.
