Foul or unpleasant smell coming from an individual's body is known as body odor. There are certain factors which can cause body odor such as use of drugs, constipation, anxiety, disease, menopause, certain foods and beverages, and over secretion of hormones. 2. Wheat grass is a rich source of chlorophyll which is very effective in reducing odor. Consume wheat grass (500 mg) with a glass of water on empty stomach every day. This is one of the most efficient home remedies for body odor.

3. Sage tea is also very effective in treating body odor. Just consume sage tea on regular basis. This will reduce perspiration and will limit odor. Women who are pregnant should not drink this tea.

4. Take a mug of water and add white vinegar or alcohol in it. Use this mixture to rinse your armpits while taking your normal bath. This natural home remedy will reduce odor.

5. During summer season make it a daily habit of applying peanut butter on your armpits just before going to bed. This will prove to be quite effective in treating body odor.

6. Consume a balanced diet with lots of green leafy vegetables, soy products, whole grains, fresh fruits, sprouts and raw nuts.

7. During summer try to wear loose cotton clothes as they will soak the sweat and will allow your skin to breathe. This will result in reduction of body odor and will make you feel comfortable.

8. Rosemary oil is known to have anti-bacterial properties and is very helpful in treating odor. All you have to do is mix some water and rosemary oil together and then apply this mixture on your armpits.

9. In order to keep the underarm area clean and dry you should try using a potato. Just take a potato and cut it into slices. Now rub these slices on your underarms.

10. Take two dozen radishes and extract their juice. Now mix this radish juice with one fourth teaspoon of glycerin and then fill this mixture in a spray bottle. You can use this mixture in place of underarm deodorant.

11. Drinking turnip juice on daily basis is also very helpful in lessening the body odor.
